The KA Foundation began with a relationship, one built with the Arhuaco, Kogui, Wiwa, and Kankuamo peoples of Colombia’s Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, guardians of what they call the Heart of the World.
Its work begins by listening, then supporting what these communities ask for: rebuilding sacred temples, funding the Nabusímake communication hub and governance center, and protecting ancestral land.
Through retreats, ceremonies, and gatherings, the foundation builds relationships between Indigenous and Native peoples and the wider world. Every decision is rooted in reciprocity, restoring balance between people, land, and spirit.
